The Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation is excited to announce our 2025 Car Raffle, made possible through the generous support of Volkswagen of Des Moines!

TICKET INFORMATION

• Price: $100 each
• Payment methods: Cash, check, or debit card in person only
  • Raffle tickets cannot be purchased with Credit Cards per Iowa State Law
• A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold
• Sales end: Ticket sales end Friday, September 26, 2025 during the 1st quarter of the Urbandale Football game or when 500 tickets are sold whichever comes first.

• Date: September 26, 2025
• Time: Half-Time at the Urbandale High School Football Game

RULES AND CONDITIONS

• Federal (24%) and state (3.8%) withholding tax will be paid by the Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation and included in the value of your prize (applies to vehicle only)
• Form W-9 request for Taxpayer Identification number and State of IA issued ID must be presented upon winning the car
• Sales tax, registration, and licensing fees will be paid by the winner
• The vehicle cannot be exchanged for cash
• Winners of the vehicle and 9 prizes do not need to be present to win

*IMPORTANT: 50/50 DRAWING BACKUP: The vehicle raffle is contingent upon the 500 tickets being sold. If 500 tickets are not sold, then a 50/50 drawing will be conducted and there will be 1 winner who will receive 50% of the proceeds from ticket sales less applicable federal and state required withholding.
