The Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation is excited to announce it has been awarded a $5,000 Polk County Community Betterment Grant.

On Monday, June 5, Hyper Energy Bar will discount their drinks to $3, and all proceeds raised from noon to 7 p.m. will be donated directly to the Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation.

Urbandale Dollars for Scholars® and the Urbandale Alumni Association awarded more than $26,000 in scholarships on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, to Urbandale High School seniors during the Senior Awards Ceremony at the high school.

Thanks to Jim Epstein and the Urbandale Lions Club, the Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation received a donation of Principal Charity Classic VIP tickets and parking passes for Sunday, June 4, 2023. These were donated in support of our Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation Golf Tournament, which is Monday, June 26, at Hyperion Field Club.

The Urbandale Dollars for Scholars is thrilled to announce it has been awarded a 2022 Dr. Irving Fradkin Legacy Impactful Scholarship Award from Scholarship America.

The Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation (URBSAF) was thrilled to have the opportunity to award over $23,000 to Urbandale educators as part of the URBSAF Making A Difference Grant Program.

In an effort to strengthen its mission and connect all facets of the organization, the Urbandale Education Foundation has announced its new name and brand identity – Urbandale Schools and Alumni Foundation – to better serve Urbandale Community School District educators, students and families, alumni and the general public.

The Urbandale Lions Club will be serving a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice at Lions Shelter, located at 72nd Street and Prairie Avenue. The event will take place from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 9.
